    Hi Henry,

I did a search and couldn't come up with anything on APM and Elastic Stack.  Adding Hiko_Davis and Guenter_Grossberger to see if they have had any experience with it.

    Thanks,
    Matt

    HI Henry,

Please see below thread from TNoonan

Publish APM Data to ElasticSearch (and now Splunk!)

    Hope this helps.

I posted a note to the internal board asking for a reply. Making a discussion since is a customization how to question.

CA just released the Log Analytics capabilities for UIM about a week ago.  That is their new Elastic (ELK) stack logging for all the products.  I _believe_ that is supposed to be added into APM as well later this year...  at least I think that was my understanding... I could be wrong, but someone from CA can comment on the official direction of their implementation of their ELK stack.

Alternatively, if you also have UIM, you may be able to look at how it's being done there to see if there is anything you can do similarly to pull it into APM.  Or, if you have UIM, maybe you just use that alongside the APM integration into UIM to get all your alarms and context info in one place.  That's the direction I'm leaning at the moment to see how well all those moving parts will actually work together.  Would love to see what you and others achieve in this space, too.

There is a field solution that collects transaction traces on the Collector side, and then pushes them to elasticsearch. As mentioned by one of the comments above, this is in our roadmap and very strategic for ALL our products, but not sure when it will be GA in APM. In the meantime, if you want to try out some ideas on what you want to do with these traces in elasticsearch, you can use this field-solution. This is an EM extension and does NOT affect the Agents.

Reach out if you are interested. I'm also interested in hearing what customers might want to do with this data in elasticsearch. I can also share what I have done with this so far

    Cheers,

    Omar

    Hello Omar,

Thanks for your answer, I am absolutely sure that the community and my person want to know more about the field-solution that you suggest and everything you have done with it, please let us know how we can use it?.

    Thanks,

    Henry.
