Is there any way around the bug in UMP in which will not allow you to use numeric user IDs (even though they work just fine in IM and adminconsole)?  We have a lot of users in Active Directory with numeric user IDs.

edit: portal-ext.properties:

users.screen.name.allow.numeric=true

That is allowing my AD users to log in now.  Thanks! 

But it still will not allow me to create a numeric user name within the UMP GUI.  Is there any way around that?

account contact users cannot have a numeric username as the AccountAdmin portlet reports an error "the login ID cannot be a number". This is true even with the property added to portal-ext.properties.

You can create a numeric UIM User in Infrastructure Manager. This was successful with a numeric login.

Only account contact users are restricted from using all numeric usernames. This is expected.
