I am getting an F2025 error in DMLO when trying to display a record that has just been restructured to extend its data length from 32 to 120 bytes. I can access it OK in OLQ using the same subschema. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Brian,

Is it possible that another version of the subschema is used with DMLO compared to that of OLQ ?

    Hi Brian,

    Good morning,

Have you tried to establishing the currency to the IDMS record, Are you accessing the CALC record, if yes, then please enter a unique value to the key field element to the record.

    DISP Record-name

    OBT CALC &D

    Thanks,

Are you referring a record with elements defined as a Bitmap (USAGE BIT)?

I ask because the DMLO Errors manual says:

    https://docops.ca.com/ca-idms-msgs/19/en/dml-messages/dml-online-messages/messages-generated-by-ca-idms-dmlo

F2025 SSR-032 DLENGTH DATA INCORRECT (SHORT)

Reason: The record length defined in the SSR-032 record is less than the actual record length because of an invalid record length calculation for records containing BIT fields.

Action: Reinvoke CA IDMS DMLO and bypass binding any records with BIT fields. CA IDMS DMLO cannot access these records.
