  • 1.  How can we know if Child projects are removed from Hierarchy

    Hi Everyone,

Suppose if someone removes the child records from the Hierarchy tab, Is there any possibility who has removed the child records.

    Thanks,

    Santosh.

Did you read the advice given in your earlier thread How to know who added Child record to a project hierarchy  about auditing the Investment Rollup object? Perhaps that helps?

I would assume that removing hierarchy would delete records so not sure that there would be anything on INV_HIERARCHIES nor the subproject/task records though.

You can audit for Insert (create), Change, and Delete. Using the article above would give you the visiblity into what you are looking for.

    Hi Ulrich,
I have raised a CA Ticket on the above issue, they sent back an update that as Audit is not enabled on the Hierarchy and it is not possible to track who has made the changes(removing the child records).

    Thanks.

    Hi David,

I have added 2 child records to a Project which has no Parents , so after quering the Inv_hierarchies table found Last updated by as User , now I have removed the child records with other user account B.

So in Inv_hierarchies table now the parent_id column is null as i have removed child records and Last updated as user .

Please correct me if my analysis is correct.

    Thanks,
    Santosh.
