  • 1.  how can I create certificates for shopz

ShopZ now requires an FTPS or HTTPS secure download to get the software fixes.  They give some examples, but they are in RACF.  What do I need to do to create a certificate so I can download my PTFs from ShopZ.  I know nothing about certificates or keyrings, so hopefully you have had this question before and there is a simple roadmap on getting this done.

    Thanks

    Hi Rick,

Can you provide more information on what CA product that you are using? Google search show ShopZ is IBM software (IBM Software Shopz )  and I'm not sure how this related to CA security products.

    Thanks.

    Chris,

I did more searches and articles TEC1560732 and TEC543373 gave me what I needed.  ACF2 is more secure than RACF, but also more steps to get things done.  At least that is my opinion.

    I don’t need anything else.

    Thanks

    Rick

    Hi Rick,

After check the KB that you mentioned, it seems CA ACF2 is referring the CA Mainframe security product. I will transfer this thread to "CA Mainframe Security" for people to assist if you have further question.
