    Tech Tip: DBPCCPR 15.x Support

     

    Tech Tip from Pat O'Brien, Principal Support Engineer for April 11, 2017

     

    Did you know that CA Datacom/DB installations only needs one version of DBPCCPR Program Call (PC) routine installed for the 15.x releases?

     

    The 15.0 DBPCCPR supports both 15.0 and 15.1 MUF regions.

    The 15.1 DBPCCPR supports both 15.1 and 15.0 MUF regions.

    Good to hear, Pat.

     

    Is there a specific maintenance level (PTF Level) at which the v15.0 DBPCCPR should be running to support v15.1 MUFs? Or does it not matter?

    Hi Clyde,

     

    Sorry for the delayed answer… I had not been receiving emails from CADRE for a while and missed your question.

     

    For current DBPCCPR problems, solutions have been provided for both 15.0 and 15.1 to keep them at the same level. So, whichever DBPCCPR version you have, you can bring it up to current maintenance for either release of Datacom/DB you are running.
