Clarity

Hi,

I am upgrading from Clarity 13.3 to 14.3. The check install logs are good when I execute the checkinstall.bat without any error.

Now when I start the actual installation for 14.4, I get the below message after initial file updates :

The Post Check result log error message is :

Upgrade From Version:

Upgrade To Version:
14.3.0.298

check-dwh-dblink-dbserver.xml WARNING Provide database Link Server details to both Clarity and DWH in CSA and Click Save to create the database link. Refer to Installation guide for more details.

How should I fix this and complete the upgrade.

Please anyone who knows the solution on this, kindly suggest.

Hi Heeral,

DWH will give an warning as you need DWH in order for Jaspersoft reporting to work but its not mandatory, so you can safely ignore and proceed.

Hi Suman,

I need your help again.

I have upgraded to Clarity 14.3, but now  I do not see the option Add-ins under studio to apply the two csp  and csk add-ins.

So next I tried is to import the reports using Import Wizard and importing CA_Clarity_Universes_MSSQL.biar file, but the CA Clarity folder in http://localhost:8080/CmcApp is blank, it does not have CSP folder and the standard Clarity reports.

Am I missing something? I followed the document, but here I am with no success.

Kindly suggest what is to be done to correctly import all the standard reports?

Hi Heeral,

I would request you to start a new thread for different issue, it will help other community members to look out for answer when they hit the same. 

Also when you upgrade to 14.3 you need to install the addin too and for the BO reports it would be csp and to install the addin it would be 

admin content csp 

For CSP biar file we had a discussion before see this thread Report missing in CA Clarity PPM 13.3 new installation

Note: Also I would like to let you know that we have stopped support for BO and request you to plan your migration to Jaspersoft.

I have installed both csk and csk from command prompt, the issue is this:

-          There is no add-in option in Clarity -> Admin -> Studio

-          The CSP report is missing in http://localhost:8080/CmcApp

I know we had discussed this but kindly help me on this for now and I will document it correctly for future use.
