    Dear Nika,

I'm having the same issue (exactly the same) in a fresh installation of Clarity 15.8; unfortunately the link is broken (because the changes domain, community plataform). Could you please share again the procedure to solve the issue. The upgrade or restore domains didn't work (despite using the option force) because is a new installation and Clarity detects it.

    Kind regards,
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel

First change i would like to try

    1. Stop all the clarity services
    2. Login to CSA and update the JDBC url using below syntax as example for oracle database
    Oracle Standard/Enterprise Database -

    jdbc:clarity:oracle://xxx.broadcom.net:1521;SID=clarity;BatchPerformanceWorkaround=true;InsensitiveResultSetBufferSize=0;ServerType=dedicated;supportLinks=true;ConnectionRetryCount=400;ConnectionRetryDelay=3

                  Oracle RAC/Exadata/PDB  Database Edition

                  jdbc:clarity:oracle://server:1521;ServiceName=serviceTNS;BatchPerformanceWorkaround=true; InsensitiveResultSetBufferSize=0;ServerType=dedicated;supportLinks=true;

        3. Re import the Jaspersoft content again using below command

admin content-jaspersoft csk -userName superuser -password superuser upgrade -retryCount 50 force

Let me know how it goes

    Dear Suman,

Thanks again for your response. Unfortunately I'm at the same point; I'm getting the same error. There are several things that I notice
1.- When the command "./admin jaspersoft keystore" it creates one file in uppercase the MSL.jks file and the other file is created in lowercase msl.properties.
2.- I deleted every key generation the organization and the "clarity_ppm_user/jasperadmin" in Jasper; but when the command to install begins, it creates the organization and user, BUT the user that the command creates isn't ppmjasperadmin (as the properties.xml file) the command creates the user jasperadmin instead, the organization created again fine (fine at this point).
3.- I already tried to use the user "jasperadmin" instead of ppmjasperadmin for the configuration and key generation but I'm getting the same error.
4-. I guessing that I have some issue with the task generation (please take a look to the attached files) I think that the command can´t create the task and this is why the import doesn't works.
5.- I deleted Jasper installation and install it again and I'm getting the same issue

    Kind regards,
    Daniel

    Hi All

We had a similar error(in the command line)  on 15.3 but not the same.

JasperLogs gives you a lot of information. Our logs said:

Caused by: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The transaction log for database 'PPMTESTJasper' is full due to 'ACTIVE_TRANSACTION'.
     at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException.makeFromDatabaseError(SQLServerException.java:216)
    at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerStatement.getNextResult(SQLServerStatement.java:1515)

Was fixed by DBA, he said to us that the disk (logs) got full He put them to simple.

    regards

    Hi Arthur

Is this a new install or a Jaspersoft upgrade? According to this it looks like it detects some data already being there:

A mapping for class com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.export.modules.repository.beans.ResourceBean already exists

If it's an upgrade you have to run the upgrade command instead. If it's a new install I would try to delete the organization and import again.

    Hi Nika,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    It is a new installation.

Even though it is a new installation, I tried again with the -upgrade option as per your suggestion but it didn't work.

    I receive the following message:

I also tried creating a new organisation, generating the keystone and running the command again but I got the same error message.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Hi Nika, Arthur and Suman,

I also resolved the issue. Thanks to Arthur he gave me the "clue..." I used the same version from tomcat 8.5.49 from PPM server to the Jasper server and this is the issue. The installation from Jasper must use the version 8.5.30 when I change this version it works. The import works!

Thank you very much Nika and Suman for your help and also Arthur for the feedback around the version.
    Kind regards,
