Upgrade of Autosys from 4.5 to 11.3.6

  • 1.  Upgrade of Autosys from 4.5 to 11.3.6

    One of our customer plans to upgrade Autosys from 4.5 to 11.3.6.

    Would it be a good idea to use the data mover script to upgrade from 4.5 to 11.3.6? If yes, are there any additional steps needed to make any adjustment?

    If data mover won't work, what would be an efficient way of upgrading Autosys? Do we need to perform all steps manually (from installation to insertion of JILs)?

     

    Your inputs will be very helpful.

    4.5 to 11.3.6? Two different beasts. AUA is probably a better option if you consider manual migration tedious.

    Although AUA is not 100% "lift-and-shift", it does help to get the JIL closer to 11.3.6 acceptable standards.
