  • 1.  Local Account Creation in CA instead of SSO

    Hi,

I have got a requirement form User. Unable to understand what is he asking for. (See below..)

We need to cut the authentication through Lotus notes.

Therefore we have decided to create local accounts in CA instead of SSO.

We will to start with create 5 local shared accounts.

    1. Fujitsu GSD shared
    2. HCL Infra shared
    3. HCL apps shared
    4. Enfo Shared
    5. US shared

Send account name and password to:

    1. Hugo Macedo for Fujitsu
    2. Moushmi Sinha for HCL infra
    3. Deepshikha Shukla for HCL apps
    4. Johan Palm for Enfo
    5. Simon Howard and Neil korgoakar for US

Kindly suggest how can I implement this change in System.

    BR,

    Piyush Kumar

I don't really understand your requirement, in PPM you can create an LDAP account which will be used with SSO to authenticate, also you can create non LDAP users which will authenticate with PPM Database and configuration remains in CSA

I am not sure I understand it either.

It sounds that you do not have LDAP authentication but another type of single sign on.

One way to check that is to see if you have External Authentication box in Administration > Users - user properties.

See the screenshots in screen shot.doc which Senthi has attached to

If you do just create user ID's so that the box is not checked.

If you do not have that then try to create a user id which does not exist in Lotus notes.

Do you have https in the URL when you are in CA PPM. If you do then it might be possible for those users to access CA PPM if you enable http access in CSA for them.

You might want to mask the real names of the users when you post here unless you have their consent not to.
