    Hi,

In CCC, the physical host is not displaying the real machine name.
In the example below, when I load, the spreadsheet displays a name with red text that does not match the machine's real name and I can't edit to get the real name.

In the Spreadsheet below is showing another name.

When I unlock the spreadsheet I put the real name but when I do upload of the spreadsheet, the false name get back again.

Is there any way I can get this right?

    Hey,

The issue is that the automatic mapping picked the wrong server. There is not a way to correct via the spreadsheet as the spreadsheet only allows for filling in missing data, but doesn't override anything already loaded.

You will need to create a Generic CSV configuration file and pull that data into Data Manager. The sample file name you want to use as a template is GenericCMLConfiguration.csv. Put the server name and find the correct server model from the spreadsheet and copy the exact name to the Computer Model column.

Make sure that the Generic CSV data source has a higher priority than the VMware data source.

Look for the sample Generic CSV files, you will want to use the

Review the process described here to resolve your issue:

Override Configuration Information - CA Capacity Management - 2.9.3 - CA Technologies Documentation

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Kip,

Is there any way to get the records highlighted in the spreadsheet below

I believe these records are not validating the f204p140.prevnet host because of this information, they are there because I did the pulldata of the csv file GenericConfiguration.csv and it was only for this host I did with this file.

The other hosts with same family are Ok as I did with the GenericCMLConfiguration.csv file, take a look below:

How do I fix this f204p140.prevnet , ie get information from the Reported Configuration?

    Thank you!
