  • 1.  Hello everybody!! Do you know how to integrate CA Harvest with Jenkins for CI and CD?

    Currently I have this infrastructure:

    * Subversion

    * Jenkins

    * Sonar

    * Docker

    * Selenium

     

    But I want  CA Harvest instead of Subversion.

    Do you know how do that?  I just found this https://search.ca.com/assets/SiteAssets/TEC1244838_External/How%20can%20I%20integrate%20CA%20Harvest%20SCM%20with%20Jenk… 

     

    But is not enough.

    I know that the integration with Jenkins is an open-source utility. 

     

    What features are missing from the Jenkins integration that would be needed?

    You will need to install the Jenkins Harvest Plugin in order to make Jenkins Harvest-aware.  See Harvest Plugin - Jenkins - Jenkins Wiki

    Hi Alan

    When you state 'it's not enough' regarding the information that you found in the KBA TEC2244838, can you please elaborate on what additional info you are looking for ?
    If you can clarify what is missing (from your perspective) from the KBA we can research and add the missing info the  KBA to provide a more complete document around this integration. perhaps the info that was supplied in the previous post by Robert Thornburrow is what you are looking for.  If so, please advise so that we can add that link to the existing KBA TEC2244838.

             Currently I am configuring CA Harvest with existing KBA TEC2244838 and Jenkins tutorial for Harvest Plugin, I am writing down all my questions, later I will let them know.
