Yes I did as per the CA installation document.

    Hi,

     

    I've installed JasperReports Server over Clarity PPM v14.2. After generating keystore & importing the content, the status of reports server in CSA remains unavailable. User ppmjasperadmin gets created on clarity & report server as well. After importing the content I'm trying to run Create & Update Reports User job & getting following exception.

     

    Please let me with the below issue:

    I tried steps provided in this link, but the job is still failing & reportserver status is Unavailable in CSA.

    Did you imported the jaspersoft content pack before you ran the job.

    Hi Divyanshu,

     

    the message indicates that the user ppmjasperadmin is available (please make sure by looking in the list of inactive resources).

    The issue seems to be that the keystore has to be created and deployed in the Jaspersoft installation as described in the installation log:

    admin jasper keystore

    ...

    Hi Georg,

     

    I've already changed the status of ppmjasperadmin user from inactive to active.

     

    This user got created on Clarity & Jasper server after importing the Jaspersoft content.

     

    Command I used for generating key store is:

     

    admjn jasper keystore -key jasperkey -password jasperpwd

    Hi Divyanshu,

     

    You need not change he user from inactive to active, please delete the organization and reimport again. If you cannot delete the organization then try the below steps

     

     

    admin content-jaspersoft csk -userName  -password <password> upgrade force -retryCount 50

    I tried it but still job is failing. And, status of report server is still Unavailable in CSA.

    The job is bound to fail if the jasper soft server is unavailable. Can you check if the services of Jaspersoft is running.

    Yes, I've started Tomcat & can login to JasperReports Server using superuser. If I assign advanced reporting rights to a user in clarity, that user is getting created on report server as well.

     

    But CSA is showing reportserver as unavailable & job is failing as well.

    so the problem is from your application server its not able to communicate to jaspersoft server as its showing unavailable.

    ensure the communication is successful from your app servers. Some sort of network investigation needs also to be done

    Hi Divyanshu,

     

    Have you specified the port as well in your CSA - Reporting - Web URL? From your error message it looks like you did not.


    The WebURL should look like this (replace servername with your exact servername, port 8081 with your exact port, and reportservice with the exact target you specified when installing Jaspersoft):
    http://SERVERNAME:8081/reportservice

     

    Then Save and see if it shows Available in CSA.

    Thanks Nika...But issue still persists after providing the port details....Now, I've raised a Case with CA as we followed same steps in our Dev & Test servers & installed it successfully....

    Thanks Divyanshu for letting us know.

     

    The problem was the connection details needed to be updated on the CSA where CSA was running but initially it was updated on the other servers.

    Could you please elaborate more on this one? We refreshed the UAT DB with prod DB and now we are getting this issue in UAT. the CSA has correct details. Can you please let me know what exactly needs to be changed?

    Once you refresh the enviornment you need to run the below command to sync the keystore file

     

     admin jaspersoft syncPPMContext -userName superuser -password superuser (14.3,14.4,15.1,15.2)

    Now we are able access the advanced Reporting, but i am getting below error for many reports. We are on Clarity 15.1 and Jasper 6.2.1.
