    Hi There CA Plex / CA 2E Community 

     

    Great news – the 9th CA Plex / CA 2E conference took advantage of some logistics issues with the original hotel to upgrade our conference to the Shelbourne South Beach. Located in the Art Deco District, the Shelborne has excellent conference facilities and also lets you enjoy breathtaking beaches, shopping, vibrant nightlife, eclectic dining, and much more.  The new facility is more centrally located to downtown Miami and the airport, and will help us better accommodate the strong attendance we are seeing.

    John,

     

      I found the following on the webpage.

     

    Please contact the Shelborne central reservations department at 305-341-1300 or 844-591-5558 and identify yourself as part of the CA Plex/2E conference to get the special rate.

     

      When I call the Shelborne, what rates should I expect?  I want to make sure the rate they give me on the phone matches the rate your negotiated.  I'm sure everyone would appreciate knowing this information before calling the Shelborne.

    I was told that the rate is $124/night and a $5 resort fee.  Not sure if I'm supposed to share that or not.  I don't know why it is a secret.

    Hi All -

    The initial block of rooms at $124/night has sold out. There is a new block of rooms at $139/night, which is still pretty good. If you are interested in the staying at the conference hotel would recommend reserving soon.

    The conference room block is officially SOLD OUT. However, we have a very limited number of discounted rooms still available as of 9/5/2017. Please contact the conference organizers atinfo@plex2e.com if you are interested in the special rate of $139. These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

    Just a quick note that the hotel was fortunately NOT affected by the hurricane.
