The PBD tool (YATT) posted in the Document Library is from 2005.

Were the directives updated since 2005?

Are there some newer tools available from CA or contributed?

Here is the last version that I'm aware of.
This version works with JRE 1.5+; the previous required 1.4.
Change the file extension back to .jar from .zip.

Are you aware if the YATT source code was published?

YATT was developed by a field engineer, so the source code is available in WilyNet. This is only available to CA internal employees, but you may be able to get the build files from your pre-sales or technical sales consultant.

Hi,

When i execute 'java –jar yatt.jar' command i get the following message. Since yatt.jar was not there i renamed yatt-dist.jar to yatt.jar.

As per the manual, i am using j2sdk1.4.2

YATT 0.301 is self-executing and does not require it to be ran from a command line.
So if you're using Windows, just double-click the .JAR file.

As I've stated previously, YATT 0.247 requires JRE 1.4.2 or higher. YATT 0.301 requires JRE 1.5 or higher.

One other comment from the developer's original post: do NOT rename the JAR file, e.g. do not shorten the name to yatt.jar.

If you're going to be using JDK 1.4.2, I've uploaded YATT 0.247 to the Document Library.
Download and unzip the JAR file.
