We've been having an occasional issue where alerts stop being processed in SOI r4.0.2 for a Spectrum connector (r2.0.0.244). (Spectrum r10.2.1). We have 6 SOI spectrum connectors, and they are hosted 2 each on three dedicated servers. So what happens is that for one of the 6 connectors we notice that SOI is missing alerts for one of the connectors but the other 5 are ok. We create a test alert in Spectrum for the connector that is missing alerts and find that it doesn't show up in SOI. We can create a new model on that Spectrum landscape and find the new model in the SOI locator, so it appears that alerts are the only thing affected. The connector logs don't appear to indicate any errors.
The temporary fix is to stop/start the connector in the SOI Admin web page, or stop/start the Spectrum SpectroServer. During the SpectroServer restart, the SOI connector learns that Spectrum has switched to the secondary fault tolerant server so it then gets an update for alarms.
So, my question is if other CA SOI customers experience the same issue. I do have a support case open for this but it may take a while for that process to yield results.
