I am searching for documentation specific to Identity Suite 14.1 for Windows Virtual Appliance Remote Tools Server and CABI Report Server. I assume for the remote tools ,this is the server you choose to install the connector server agent but I don't want to assume. I have searched this link CA Identity Suite - Home - CA Identity Suite - 14.1 - CA Technologies Documentation but I have not information on either. Any directions to documentation is appreciated

    Terrance,

The Instructions are in the Vapp Dashboard.

    https://IPAddress/vapp/clinet/#/externalTools

Download the VirtualApplianceRemoteTools.zip from the CA Support site. Unzip and run the VirtualApplianceTools_Installer on any Windows Server (like Connector Server).

Thank you I was confused because as you stated where ever you install the connector component is pretty much the remote tools server.

According to this link Installing CA Identity Suite Virtual Appliance - CA Identity Suite - 14.0 - CA Technologies Documentation

    1. In the Download Center page, select the product as CA Identity Suite for Business Users - MULTI-PLATFORM.

    2. Select the release as 14.0 and click Go.

    3. Click Download next to CA Identity Suite Virtual Appliance r14.0 - ESD Only to download the DVD12080659E.ova file.

    4. Click Download next to CA Identity Suite Virtual Appliance Remote Tools r14.0 - ESD Only to download the GEN12081017E.zip file.

I can't seem to find where to actually download this file

    Hi Terrance,

    How about the following?

    https://support.ca.com/us/download-center/product-files.html

Search for CA identity Suite Virtual appliance,

Then search for CA Identity Portal for Business Users

    Regards,

Hi Terrance, in addition to what Ranga has already communicated above, to integrate CABI Report server you need to follow the instructions from Identity Manager and Identity Governance docops documentation to install and configure the report server with each CA product. The only major difference for the appliance is that the jks and properties files you need to copy from IM and IG to the jaspersoft report server are in different locations.

Depending on the version of the VApp you are using you may be able to copy these files from /opt/CA/VirtualAppliance/conf/.
Otherwise, these files are also accessible from here (you need to take both IM and IG properties and jks files:

    1. /opt/CA/wildfly-ig/standalone/deployments/eurekify.war/WEB-INF/classes/
    2. /opt/CA/wildfly-idm/modules/com/ca/iam/cajasper/main/

Another requirement is that the JasperSoft report server (Linux or Windows) needs to be able to resolve database_srv address, Make sure you put this in the hosts file.

Thank you this is helpful, I need to read up on CABI because I need to understand if we truly need this as part of our solution. In training and testing we have not used this tool as of yet again thank you for your help
