    Hi All,

Whether NAS probe can be distributed in all hubs instead of being only in primary HUB ,anyone have tried ?

Yes, it can. I believe that if you use ToT then you have to have nas on every hub that uses ToT. You will likely run into comment form Support that "this isn't supported" but a handy query back to them to provide the reference in the documentation about where that is defined will usually get you past that issue.

It does require some planning though because the nas is the end point for messages with an Alarm subject. So if you have a central place where alarms are further processed, you need to either identify a way to get a copy of the alarm to the central nas or set up nas replication.

Whichever why you decide (or need) to go, consider that there are some significant reliability problems with both courses.

Yes, you can. In our UIM we've many hubs connected to primary hub through tunnel. Every hub has it's own NAS. Every NAS forward (only in one direction) all alarms to NAS running on primary hub. NAS on primary hub forward back all response alarms (close, assign, etc....). In this way we've only one central alarm console with all alarms of the infrastructure.

    Hello Issac08

Please see this old thread that can help you:

    Multiple nas

This KB has an extra info that you may have doubt later after set secondary NAS

How to enable remote/secondary NAS probes to access the maintenance_mode probe on the primary hub?

Here's another link that might help you out in the nas docs - nas (Alarm Server) - CA Unified Infrastructure Management Probes - CA Technologies Documentation

Down towards the bottom of the page is a diagram with a primary and remote nas.
