I'm in the midst of creating some new ENDEVOR instances (across our production instances to allow us to use BSTXCOPY and use the display footprint feature of ENDEVOR locally on our production boxes).

I have setup only one environment as we intend to use this as DR and I was surprised when I found out entering ENDEVOR took me to the primary options panel (C1SM1000) rather than the Environment Selection List (C1SM1100).

    Two questions...

    Is this a "feature" ?

Is there any way (apart from have only one environment) that I can bypass the selection list panel on startup anyway ?

This is the way it works. Whenever you enter foreground endevor, what you see next depends on how many of the environments defined in your C1DEFLTS table you are authorized to use as per your NAMEQU ENVIRONMENT_ACCESS security check.

If you don’t have access to any environment, you see an error message. If you have access to a single environment, you go directly to the primary options menu for that environment. If you have access to several environments, you get the environment selection list. There is no way to change that in our logic.

    Hope this helps
