CA defines standard Connection Identification Numbers for its connectors  - for example, CA:00005 refers to a CA Spectrum Infrastructure Manager connector. If we write and deploy custom connectors, is there a range of numbers we should use for these, or would we just use a name and skip the number prefix altogether? I was thinking that if the number portion gets parsed off in various tables as mdrproduct, then it might be necessary.

Thanks Shaheen. We are trying something like MYCON:00001_hostname.domain.com and hope this will work.
