Is there a way to have a popup for re-authentication for sensitive resources than redirecting to another page (ex reauth.fcc) ?

From user experience point of view we prefer to have a pop-up than a new page

Documentation only says to have another fcc -  How to Require Re-authentication for Sensitive Resources - CA Single Sign-On - 12.52 SP1 - CA Technologies Documentation

    Thanks in advance

Have you tried protecting the resources with a basic auth scheme and increasing the protection level on the auth scheme?  That should present a pop-up box.

Yes, as David said, pop up = basic auth, so if the second challenge needs to be popup, it should be protected with basic auth.

However, please note if the user tries to access the resource protected with basic auth directly, it will show popup also.

Hi Ujwol, that seem to work, but can we customize its action as well, like

-> limiting the popups (e.g. to show popup only 3 times)

-> display proper message upon action, either it be pass or fail, though in fail attempt it will again show the popup, but upon certain count, it should show some message or upon account getting locked it should show some meaningful messages.
