  • 1.  IdM 12.6 - Help link not working

    Hi experts!

     

    I just realized on our production environment that Help link on User Console top-right corner opens a popup that shows a 404 http error. So I tested it on 2 other environments I have and see the same thing. Is there some issue with this? Anybody know?

    What version of Identity Manager are you running in production?

    I have just upgrade one of my environments from 12.6.7 to 14.1 and help link on User Console is working fine, perhaps something from the older version..

    Hi Leije, sorry for the delay and thanks for your response. I am running 12.6 sp7. I tested on an ootb environment and Help link is broken. It is not critical here obviously (nobody tried the help link before, me included), if it is not working we are only going to hide it, to avoid confusion to end users.

    Please be aware these days the help link requires internet connection as it is fetching the data from http://docops.ca.com (unlike older versions, where the help was fetched from the application server folders). If there is no internet access on either of these environments, please raise a support case so we can assist with either providing you with alternatives for that.

    Hi Rinat, I have internet on my lab. Besides, Help link was not working on version 12.6.7 but after upgrading to 14.1 it does work. But thanks for your response, I will be upgrading qa and prd environment the following days, and they does not have internet access so your response was very helpful so I can take it into account.
