  • 1.  Account linkage is missed for a user and unable to link the account to the gloal user

    Hi,

     

    We have CA Identity manager up and running and is working fine. we found an issue that for one of the global user one of the end point is not displaying in IM. Verified the provisioning directory to see if the account exists in Endpoint and able to find the account. Tried to correlate the account to user but it is not linking to the global user nor to [default user]. Getting the status as unchaned due to which the account is not linked to any user. Is there any way to link the account to the global user account manually so that in IM the account is visible for the user.

     

    ex: User 'ABC' exists in IM who has AD provisioning role as well. User 'ABC' account exists in AD and is visible in provisioning directory but when we search for user end points the AD end point is not visible. Tried to correlate manually by running the eTExploreCorrelateUsers against provisioning directory which returned status as unchanged. Is there any way to link the account to the user manually so that the endpoint is visible for the user.

    Have you checked whether this Account is already correlated with any other user? You can do so by selecting the AD Account from Provisioning Manager, Active Directory endpoint, content and then listing user for the account.

     

     

    May be it is already correlated with another user and this is why it does not correlate with the user of your choice.

    You can also use the Provisioning Manager to manually associate an account with a Provisioning User.

    Can I achieve the same by using etautil command to link the account with correct user.

    Hi All,

     

    Yes I am able to use the provisioning manager to link the account to the correct user. can I achieve the same by using etautil command since there are thousands of users for whom we need to correct the data.
