  • 1.  how to determine the business hours between two days in SPL

    Hi,

     

    I am trying to find the business hours of between two days in spl script, is there any spl method to use to determine the business hours ?

     

    Business hours are  Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.

    Hello Venkat,

     

    I see that you were on this thread:

    What point are you stuck on? Or were you hoping that someone may have coded this already?

     

    Can you use the above method and "hard code" your workshift into the SPL, to do your calculation?

    (You might be able to use the real workshift with CA SDM::.SPEL::. abs2work. Otherwise public holidays will mess this up unless you build those into your code also.)

     

    You would need a way to check for whether a day is a Saturday or Sunday or not. Don't know on this one.

     

    Sorry - that's all the thoughts I have off the cuff. I hope someone can add more.
