    Hi everyone.

I am overriding the speed in a interface on snmpcollector probe, but for any reason this override not take the changed. I don't see the change on USM details exactly in "nominal speed"

    I have CAUIM 8.5, controller 7.93 and snmpcollector 3.43

    Any idea?

Don't know, I don't see nominal speed at USM device Details, there is Speed under Interfaces. Also I don't see it under snmpcollector. When selecting a profile > interfaces there is Speed In Override & Speed Out Override, but don't think that will change the Speed shown in USM.

Interface speeds reported in the interface tab in the UMP USM Portlet are the ifSpeed values returned by the monitored device. If they are incorrect, you can override them in the snmpcollector probe so that the correct speed is used to calculate metrics based on the overridden ifSpeed, but this value will not appear on the interface tab by design.

To see any overridden ifSpeed values on the interface tab of the UMP USM Portlet would require an enhancement request.

yes this is currently working as designed.

what USM is displaying is interface attribute populated by discovery (discovery_agent or snmpcollector)

the value is ifspeed or ifHighspeed
