Paper describing the different methods of copying objects between separate UC4 Operations Manager and UC4 Automation Engine Systems or Clients.  The intent of this document is to discuss the different ways to copy objects between UC4 systems or UC4 clients. This will cover Export/Import between systems or clients, using Transport Cases, and using the Client Copy utility. This will not cover copying a full database.

    Hi

    Hesham El-Sheika

    - sorry for the delayed response on your question.  While there is no official document (that I'm aware of) that goes into copying a full database, take a look at a previous post that talks about some best practices when copying databases.  If you test anything, feel free to post your findings there as well so other users can take advantage of your findings!

If you want to copy the full database i would rather suggest using other tools beside from Automic.

For Oracle many customers use data pump to make a clone of their DB. That's much more faster than using the Automic Utilities.
For MSSQL and DB2 I am not sure which tools work best.
