Automic Workload Automation

Hi 
We want to trig a SAP job after verifying the file availability ,for this we are using pre-condition (check file) in AE workflow.
I have installed in Windows agent in AE interface and installed service manager in server (where we receive files) but still my job is waiting for the file even the file is presented in the given locaion.
Can you please help to solve my problem

Thats a bit difficult with no more info - just have a look in the Workflow's and JOB's Report - is here stated any error message?

I would say your Agent ist not running, so the AE is not able to check if the file is existent or not, so this would be an explanation why its not proceeding....

I have removed the Servicemanager logs and and re installed the service ,manager. now ,i'm getting the below message in the log

Then SMGR does not find your AE binaries - pls check the path in the SMD file or (recommended) via SMGR dialog

There is no need to re-install anything.

Its just to (re-)define the path to your Agent binary and working dir

you can use the template and just adapt the path definitions to the CP and WP and Agent binaries within Service Manager Dialog.

- sorry, no Idea what you are talking about....

- If you installed a WIN Agent you can start it by doubleclicking on the EXE or via Windows Services.
SMGR Installation is optional - but easier to handle, cause you can start/stop agents via Ui or SMGR Dialog.

Usually per WIN Server you hava a SMGR instance and one (or more) Agents (WIN, SQL, SAP, RA.., ......)

I would recommend attending the basisc training & admin training from automic.

Ok,We have installed AE services and agents in 1 server and we will receive files to another server(2) so now windows agent need to verify the files on server 2.for this I have installed SMGR in server 2,whle installing this i'm getting the logs which I have attached in the previous comment.
I think now have explained my problem:(

ah now I think I understood - Agent + SMGR are on Server A and you need to check if the file is located on server B - correct?

in this case you have 2 possibilities (probably 3):

1) install a seperate agent (and optional SMGR) on Server B
2) share the path on server B and use an UNC path for checking if the file exists
3) store the file on Server A instaed of Server B
