  • 1.  Export XML via job

    Hello,

    Is there possibility to create job/script/sql which will export specific object in XML?
    I need to automate this so every month to exctract all Windows jobs in XML, all FileTransfers and all Unix Jobs.
    Along withe 1 XML for all Windows Logins and 1 for all Unix Logins.

    Is there an easy way or this need to be done manually?

    Hi Krum_Ganev

    You can use EXPORT to output objects to xml using script.

    However, we do not recommend exporting multiple objects in xml - using the transport case would be the recommended approach.

    Besides upon being exported to xml, passwords contained in login objects will be erased.

    Please keep in mind that a manual or automatic export to XML will NOT keep passwords of user and login objects!
