    Hello All,
I am trying to load a license file using  'ucybdbld' command which is resulting in following error.

UCUDB - DB error info: OPC: 'SQLExecDirect' Return code: 'ERROR'
    20180105/165015.904 - U00003592 UCUDB - Status: '42S22' Native error: '207' Msg: 'Invalid column name 'VERSI_Patch'.'
20180105/165015.904 - U00003592 UCUDB - Status: '42000' Native error: '16945' Msg: 'The cursor was not declared.'
    20180105/165015.919 - U00003594 UCUDB Ret: '3590' opcode: 'SLUC' SQL Stmnt: 'select VERSI_DBVersion from UC_VERSI order by VERSI_Major desc, VERSI_Minor desc, VERSI_Patch desc'
20180105/165015.919 - U00003590 UCUDB - DB error: 'SQLExecDirect', 'ERROR   ', '42000', 'The cursor was not declared.'
    20180105/165015.919 - U00038081 Version of database objects: '12.0.1+build.611'
    20180105/165015.919 - U00029108 UCUDB: SQL_ERROR    Database handles  DB-HENV: 8771a0  DB-HDBC: 877280
20180105/165015.919 - U00003591 UCUDB - DB error info: OPC: 'SQLExecDirect' Return code: 'ERROR'

I have verified ODBC connection and SQL collation is set to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS.

Can someone provides any inputs on what could be causing the error and how to fix it?

    Thanks in advance, Zafar

The VERSI_Patch field has been removed from the DB schema in AE 11.2 and beyond.

    https://community.automic.com/discussion/9024/versi-patch-is-not-valid-in-the-context-where-it-is-used-sqlstate-42703

Are you using an old license file with a new installation? If so, possibly you need to contact Automic to obtain a license file in a current format.

    Hi,

Does the DB Load process complete? Is the license successfully loaded into your system ?

If yes : these DB errors concerning VERSI_Patch can always be ignored. The DB schema changed in this area and UCUDB/DBLoad tries one method, then retries with another one if this fails.

If not : please use the latest available version of DB Load utility and try again.

    Best regards,
    Antoine

No, the license file doesn't load. AE version I am using is 12.0.3 and utilities  version is '12.0.1+build.771'

Is there another latest version of utilities that exist, If so, where can I get it from?

    Hi Zafar,

If you have AE version 12.0.3 you can download the 12.0.3 utilities here:

    https://downloads.automic.com/downloads/component_downloads?selected_tab=&lifecycle_entity_id=1409143059253&component_id=1409143059268&major_version_id=1485340757380&search=&no-default-values=on&show-files=on&show-patch-descriptions=on

For future components that you are trying to find a specific version for, go to downloads.automic.com, hover over "Downloads" at the top, and go to "Component Downloads."

    Best Regards,

    -Leah

Another thing to consider if you're actually using AE 12.0.3 is updating the initial data. From the log I see that the DB objects are: Version of database objects: '12.0.1+build.611'

However, according to the downloads site there is a matching 12.0.3 db file for that AE version.

Can you please provide the full log file. There might be a problem somewhere else, i.e. connection string.

I am seeing this issue only when I try to load the license on a ASO 12.0.3 version, same command appears to work with ARA version 12.0.1.GA01-353.

I get following error with 12.0.3 Utility version.
    Starting C++ batch mode loader...
    User account (user/domain) <ADMINISTRATOR/WORKGROUP>
    Startup parameter <-B -XC:\AutomicLicense\35015.txt >
    Application name <ucybdbld>
    Launch from <.\>
    LoadLibrary <.\ucybdbld.dll>
    LoadLibrary pointer = <00007FF8E1D30000>
    Application return code = 1

In comparing logs for both versions I don't see any difference but the login to ASO doesn't work post execution of command and shows same error I posted initially.

    Log file is attached.

    Hi @zafar

As mentioned above the error message can be safely discarded. The log itself says the processing has completed successfully:
    20180108/132603.072 - U00021103 Created on: 18.01.04 01:48:36
    20180108/132603.103 - U00021104 '      121' records loaded in table 'UC_LIC'.
    20180108/132603.103 - U00038084 Processing completed.

Are you able to connect to your Automation Engine server via the User Interface / AWI on a client other than client 0 ? Are you able to run tasks on the agents ?

    If so > No problem.

    Best regards,
    Antoine

    Hello Antoine_Sauteron

No, login to AWI with any user other than UC doesn't work and I am seeing these errors in the session log of user who attempted to login.

U00034003 New UserInterface logon is not allowed as the number of UserInterface licenses '0' is exhausted. The number of reserved licenses for CallAPI users is '0'. Now there are '0' user logon(s) (UserInterface/WEB/WAP: '0', CallAPI: '0').

    Regards, Zafar

Thanks for your answer. Just to make sure as 2018 has just started : are your licenses still valid ?

Usually licenses expire by the end of December, therefore I'd like you to confirm this.
If the license has expired please get in touch with your account manager.

Otherwise, please report this to support so we can further help you.

    Best regards,
    Antoine

You are right. The license did expire and I got a renewed license file which is the same file I am trying to load.
I had two systems where the license expired,  I was able to load it on one system running ARA 12.0.1 and login successfully to the system whereas on other system running ASO 12.0.3 I am experiencing this issue.

Now, I am going to upgrade Utilities to 12.0.3 version again and see if that makes difference, if not, I will open a support ticket.

    Thanks for all the help!
