In our recent development, thank you to our data scientists, we have dramatically improved the accuracy of ERT calculations. How can we best put this to use in your daily work? We would like to invite several customers to participate in an interview on this topic. Would you be interested?

We’d be glad to participate. For starters, we’d be interested in a redesign of the UI for the ERT feature to make it more user-friendly. Right now, the design is amazingly counter-intuitive.

Examples of how we could use the improved ERT - critical path analysis, end-time predictions, real-time analysis of available resolution time before business impact. Not an exhaustive list - please feel free to bring your own ideas.

TWS has an option to prioritize jobs based on ERT and MaxRT. It works like this: in situations where two or more jobs are in contention to start first (due to a limit on the maximum number of simultaneous runs, or dependency on a limited resource), the engine performs an on-the-fly forecast to see which job should start first. It does this with the aim of ensuring that MaxRT conditions are met — not just for these jobs, but for all successors.

Is such a capability envisioned? Does it fall within the scope of your survey regarding ERT?
