ITCM integration with SCCM 2012 R2: What SCCM role should the user account be setup with to query all the available information for ITCM?

Creating the engine task for ITCM to integrate with SCCM requires the SCCM Server Name, Site ID, username and password. The SCCM administrator needs to know what role the user account needs in SCCM 2012 R2. I want to provide the least privilege possible and still obtain the data we need for HW, SW, and User inventory integration.

I told the SCCM admin it just needs read only access, but he asked what role from the 12 predefined roles in SCCM. Since I am not familiar with SCCM 2012 r2, I could not provide the answer.

This is what your SCCM admin should know and provide.
