    End of Service for CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 6.2 (CABI 6.2)

    In accordance with the CA Support Policy and Terms available at https://support.ca.com, please consider this email your written notification that we are discontinuing technical support for CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 6.2, packaged with CA Service Management 14.1 products (CA Service Desk Manager 14.1, CA Service Catalog 14.1, CA IT Asset Manager – Asset Portfolio Management 14.1), along with its respective service packs, cumulative patches, and supported languages, effective June 28, 2018. After June 28, 2018, CA Technologies will continue to make self-service support available for CABI 6.2 until the end of your current maintenance term.

     

    General Availability of CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 6.4.2 (CABI 6.4.2)

    We are pleased to announce the availability of CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 6.4.2 with CA Service Management 14.1 products (CA Service Desk Manager 14.1, CA Service Catalog 14.1, CA IT Asset Manager – Asset Portfolio Management 14.1). You can download your copy of CABI 6.4.2 from the download pages of CA Service Management 14.1 products at https://support.ca.com. Please visit the DocOps space for CA Service Management 14.1 for upgrade and compatibility instructions.

     

    Availability of CABI 6.4.2 with CA Service Management 17.1 is currently under consideration. A future announcement will be made upon   certification completion.

     

    License file update for CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 6.2 (CABI 6.2)

    The license file for your CABI 6.2 deployment will expire in October 2018. It is recommended that you upgrade your CABI 6.2 deployment to the latest supported version, CABI 6.4.2, which includes a replacement license. Alternatively, a replacement license is available for download if you wish to continue using CABI 6.2 after October 2018. You can download the replacement license from CA Service Management Solutions and Patches page. You can find instructions for applying the license file in the readme file of the patch as well as in the CA Service Management 14.1 documentation.

    No, the 17.x release is using CABI 6.3 (i.e. Jasper Reports 6.3), CABI 6.4.2 (i.e. Jasper Reports 6.4.2) would be just an incremental upgrade for CABI.

    No - the certification of JasperSoft 6.4.2 is not yet completed for CA Service Management 17.1

     

    Once the certification process has been completed, a separate announcement regarding JasperSoft 6.4.2 and CA Service Management 17.1 will be made

    I cannot find the new License file on the support site. The Install and Configure CABI JasperReports Server r6.2.0 for CA Service Management - CA Service Management - 14.1 - CA Tec…  page references SO01458.CAZ, but searching for this file on the support site yields no results. Has the solution been published ?
