  • 1.  CICS Multi Socket Server Listener (TIML) - GIVESOCKET NOT TAKEN FOR SERVER ECHO

    Hi CA Support,

     

    Based on the successful testing in UAT , We have implemented last weekend , Not even ECHO is not working in production.  getting the  “’ GIVESOCKET NOT TAKEN FOR SERVER ECHO       “

     

    Please help to give some inputs for below error.

      I see you posted this same information to case 00849120 which was closed October 2017.  For urgent matters, as this one appears to be, please open a "new" case on support.ca.com.  On the case, include a Business Impact statement so that we can prioritize your case.

      Although we monitor Communities, it may take some time to get to, so it is best to always open a new case for high impact problems.

    FYI all:

    Chennaiah advised us via support case that his CICS & network teams found the root cause of this error - "Need to update the PDCTCPCD stack correctly on both AOR & TOR"
