Clarity

Hello All,

This may sound like a very minor or silly issue, however, whenever I click on any 'Question' and would like to go back to the section, where all 'Questions' are present, the link above always shows 'Discussions'. I believe this is because 'Questions' have been replaced by 'Discussions' and they are now 2 separate sections now. But, shouldn't the link above show 'Questions' instead of 'Discussions'? I am aware that I can click on the back sign and go back to the original page/section, but, I do not find this very user friendly. Hoping if this can be revised.

Hi Suhail,

Discussions and Questions are still two different things.  I will check myself when I get into the office this morning, but can you give me the exact URL which has the original list of questions, which you then click on one to look at the details?  Then I can test going to a post from that page and seeing whats on the top to navigate back.   There should be a question mark icon I think.

Hi Jon,

One example link for a Question is Want to Delete Projects which does not have timesheet. At the top left hand side, there should be All Places -> CA PPM -> Questions, but, it shows Discussions instead.

Hi Suhail,

Just found out that this is a known Jive bug that has been in their backlog for a while, and is not something they seem to want to fix.  Unfortunately this one is not within our control.  However, as a workaround, what I always do is hold down the control key (ctrl) while clicking on a question in the questions list, which always opens that question in a separate tab, this way you can just close the tab when you are done, and it goes back to the list tab
