  • 1.  404 Error in DEVTEST 10.1 portal

    Hi All,

     

    When we launching the Devtest 10.1 portal we are getting 404 error and we checked the service status and all services (Portal, Registry, Coordinator and Simulator) are up and running. Could any one provide solution on this. It is urgent.Our project testing is blocked due to this issue.

    Can you provide a screenshot of the exact error?

    We assume you mean that the 404 occurs when logging in to the URL:  http://<yourServer>:1507/devtest/#  where <yourServer> is the server where the Registry/Portal is running.  

    Also, what type of server is DevTest deployed to? (e.g., Docker, VM, physical servers)

    Double check your logs to see if the services started up correctly. The two log files I recommend looking at is registry.log and portal.log. If you started them as a service it should be logged in DEVTEST_HOME/lisatmp_x.x or USER_HOME/lisatmp_x.x

    William is right, the logs are the first place to look. The Portal when showing the 404 error will probably refer to a test case that is in error, look for that test case in the Simulator log.
