when i am creating child incident to the parent incident,whenever modification done in parent incident automatically changes updated in child incident also.

suggest me to get this requirement.

Could you elaborate what you mean with "whenever modification done in parent incident automatically changes updated in child incident also."? What changes do you hope to propagate?

Hi Brian,

Modification means if i change in parent incident like status or priority or solution given in Description filed , it would be reflected in Child incident also.Is it possible?

Pullaredy, currently out of box there is no such a feature to allow you updating child incidents according to those of parent incidents. Please take a look at this idea

Update child tickets according to parent automatically 

if you want to implement your own, then some kind of spel code would need and use some trigger.You may want to take a look at http://forum.servicedeskusers.com/forums/topic/22427-resolved-propagate-activity-log-from-children-to-parent-when-add-re… though this one does for the logs. Thanks _Chi

As Chi_Chen indicated previously, currently out of the box there is no such feature to allow you to update child incidents from its parent incident.
