  • 1.  How to add new custom table in scoreboard, data partition in CA Servicedesk

    Posted Sep 14, 2018 07:26 AM

    Hi ,

I need to add custom table object in scoreboard queries so that we can build the scoreboard nodes based on new custom table.i.e we can select the custom object while creating new scoreboard queries.

Similarly we need to add the custom tables in events and notification association, data partition.

    Thanks

Sameer, currently there is no supported way for doing this. If you have some test env, you could add the custom object directly to mdb so it is available when create those. There could be a lot of unexpected issues. Thanks _Chi

    Hi Chi,

    Thanks for reply.

But I guess only for data partition the custom object can be added in mdb because for stored query as cdtj  suggested needs to be added on form correct.

    Thanks

Sameer, the form part is not the concern. The concern is the target object...the custom object is not part of the object list you could use in these records(dp, stored queries, events, notification associations) so you would need to add your custom object to the list, thru direct mdb operation( or pdm_load if you would like) and we are not even sure if some expected issues after the addition of your custom object. Thanks _Chi

    Hi,

there is an easier way, you can modify factory name directly on form, example: Scoreboard stored query for custom object

But as Chi mentioned adding custom objects is not recommended and can cause unexpected issues.

    Regards.

    Thanks for the reply cdtj

The method suggested by you will be applicable for all events, macro and event notification

    Thanks
