We have requirement for a customer that they would like to have a new session for each browser tab, Below is the scenario.

1 User open 3 tabs in a browser

2 First tab user logs into SSO protected application after successful LDAP Authentication

3 Close First tab

4 Second tab user access the same SSO protected application

5 User will directly put into protected application

At step 5 customer is expecting user to ask for LDAP credentials, is it possible with SSO configuration?

This is by browser design and I don't think we could alter this behavior with SSO configuration. Please refer below similar article where peter has explained in detail.

How session is removed in case of accessing application in tab windows?
