    Hello Everyone,

Is there a way that I can trace who has marked the project / idea for deletion ?  Is there a way that we can bring the data for deleted projects / ideas ? In addition, what is the possibility of hiding "Mark for Deletion" field based on the User Group

Possibility of hiding “Mark for Deletion” field (button):  Very high.

Project deletion is controlled via access rights.  Removing this right from users will remove the “Mark for Deletion ” and “Cancel Deletion” buttons.

Push over the project attribute 'Purge Flag' to the Audit Trail.

This will show when it has been updated, and by whom.

You may want to consider also doing this in the Audit Trail for 'Deleted', in case someone has run the 'Deleted Investment' job and the project is now deleted.

    Hi,

I only way to recover the deleted project is via Database (DBA knows about it).

In Oracle, use flashback command and other relevant techniques to recover at least some basic project information.

I did it 5 years back.
