Our workspace uses drag-and-drop ranking. My project is one of hundreds of projects in the workspace. I am not able to switch to manual ranking.

We are tracking 300 defects in Rally. I can see up to 99 defects on a page. How do I re-rank an item on page 3 to page 1, for example?

Ken, I'd use the Custom List  (https://help.rallydev.com/custom-grid)app on your dashboard or on a custom page. If you set the work item type in the app to Defects then you'll get a much more robust experience than with the Quality >> Defects page including viewing 200 defects at a time and the ability to explicitly move any defect to Highest, Lowest or a specific position in Rank (as long as you order the Custom List by Rank). Hope that helps.

Worked as described. Rank Highest, Rank Lowest, and Move to position... all allowed me to cross page boundaries. Final in-page ranking was performed using drap-and-drop method. Thank you very much.
