    Hi All,

In SDM, we are using web screen painter to customize the current sdm form to add custom attribute.

How do we customize xflow form if we want to add custom attribute? Can we use web screen painter to do the same?

    Cheers,

    Hi Halim,

As far as I know xFlow cannot be customized using WSP.

xFlow is based on Angular (framework for feature rich web applications, responsive to device geometry changes), which has the following implications:

    • NO tomcat and NO webengine (—> IIS or Apache)
    • no code-level customization for now
    • no HTMPL

    Kind Regards,

    Brian

Hi Brian, Thanks for the info.

I do not think this xFlow will go fly high. I think you guys have to seriously think the future of xFlow. I never see customer environment that only use OOTB field. Most of our customer/client will use custom attribute and define a lot of condition that we code in old form. If we cannot do what old form does, I guest xFlow is useless after all for most of our customer/client.

    Hi Raghu,

It does not seems right at all that we need to use command to update the attribute. Can we display the custom attribute in xflow form? This xflow form should be for level 1 analyst, we cannot expect level 1 analyst to update the value in command bar.

How come that I feel that old form is more user friendly than this xflow form? Does CA design xflow form wrongly here?

    Halim,

Checkout the first two links too please.  The first two indicate how to expose the attributes and set them while creating a ticket.

The command bar approach is the main way to Edit / set a custom/required attribute AFTER creating the ticket.
