  • 1.  Mechanism to measure SD Performance

    hello Experts,

We are thinking of a process to measure the ServiceDesk performance in test environment before pushing into production. Its always a chance factor to gauge the actual performance before go live. We think if we can create a mechanism to initiate 1000+dummy sessions in staging box and involve all sessions with some DB transaction activity. There by we can measure how a new SD version or patched version performs in real world.

Does anyone follows any such process/practice or custom technique ? Any leads will be very helpful.

    Thanks

If you want to stress test against the UI interface you can use some stress test tool like Apache Jmeter. I personaly like this one but there is plenty of such tools on the market

    My 2 cents
