  • 1.  Can't enable TIM in CEM (APM 10.7 SP2)

    Posted Mar 22, 2019 05:48 AM

    Hi,

Need help and advise. I installed CA APM 10.7 SP2 components with following architecture:

    1. EM (192.168.10.114)

    2. EM Collector (192.168.10.113)

    3. TIM (eth0: 192.168.10.206 - Dynamic; eth1: 192.168.10.205 - Dynamic).

There is no issue communication between EM and EM Collector.

When I'm trying to enable the TIM in CEM, I received error " An updated configuration could not be sent to one or more of the selected Monitors. These monitors were not enabled".

I have searched in this communities related to my issues. But looks like the issues I found was not same.

    Regards

    Rio

    Dear Rio:

       1) So the TIM/TIM Collector, MOM is running ?

       2) In the TIM settings , you have the correct IP for MOM and Tim Collector?

       3) Have you tried enabling from the database? The SQL query to enable all disabled Monitors or can add a WHERE ts_id =...; (for particular TIM)

    Disabling CEM Monitors

    update ts_monitors set ts_enabled=false;

    Hi Hallet,

    1) So the TIM/TIM Collector, MOM is running ?

--> Yes, all those are running

      2) In the TIM settings , you have the correct IP for MOM and Tim Collector?

--> Do you mean from this console?

I did not found the MOM and Collector here?

    3) Have you tried enabling from the database? The SQL query to enable all disabled Monitors or can add a WHERE ts_id =...; (for particular TIM)

--> I have not tried this yet. which DB & table I should execute this query?
