  • 1.  DevTest 10.3 - 2035 error while connecting to a Queue

    Hi,

I am using DevTest 10.3 and I am unable to connect to queues on a specific queue manager.

    Getting the below error
Error opening queue XXXXXXXX_REQUEST.Q with options 8208, Completion Code 2 (MQCC_FAILED), Reason Code 2035 (MQRC_NOT_AUTHORIZED)

    | Trapped Exception: MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2035
    | Trapped Message: com.ibm.mq.MQException: MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2035

Does any of you face similar issue?

    Thanks,

    Udhaya

The user/credentials that you use to connect to the queue manager is missing the authorization to use that specific queue. Every time I have seen this message at a customer site then this error was something that the team needed to resolve with their MQ administrators. This has (most likely) nothing to do with a DevTest issue

    Cheers,

    Danny

    HI Udhaya

Could you please check if this document helps you solve the problem. As Danny has mentioned, often this issue turns out to be a configuration (or the lack of it).

Not sure if you are using SSL with IBM MQ, but this is a good reference:
