    Dears,

i'm trying to integrate service point 17.2 with ca service catalog to view More bottom on end user interface but its not showing in the category

i try this solution but its not working also

    Perform the following steps:

    1. Log in to CA SDM as an administrator.
    2. Navigate to Administration, select xFlow Interface, Service Point, and Configurations.
    3. Select a configuration from the configuration list, and click Edit.
    4. From the Catalog drop-down list, select YES to show or NO to disable/enable the catalog featured offerings and requests in Service Point.

    5. Click Save.

    Good Morning Mohaned.

Question, does the SC-SDM integration work properly already?

You can check this in the following way:

When you open a request for the 'Report an Issue' service in Catalog(SC), does this then also create an incident in SDM?

    Kind regards, Louis.

    Good Morning Mohaned.

Please also check this from within the SDM-UI: Admin/options mgr/CA Service Catalog settings.

    Kind regards, Louis.

    Good Morning Mohaned.

Good to 'hear' that the SC-SDm integration works for SCrequest and SDmincident.
With Catalog set to Yes, then the SP-UI should show you the SC and SDM 'tickets'.
Including the 'More...' Category. (as it does on my local server).

Did you install the 'Search Server' software too?

    Kind regards, Louis.

You check whether this folder exists: C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CASearchServer

    Kind regards, Louis.

    Dear Louis,

Thanks for fast replay and support

i installed the Search Server on the application server where the x-flow and service point installed

    C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CASearchServer

Search Server not installed on SDM background, standby and Service Catalog

    Regards,

    Good afternoon Mohaned.

Then I do not know further. Hopefully 'others' in this Community can help.
Otherwise, I suggest to open a standard case for more intensive analysis and follow-up.

    Kind regards, Louis.

    Hi Louis and Mohaned,

have no solution for this, no we have additional problems (see 17.2 xFlow - server not available ).

Louis, can I switch off connection to search server?

OR can I set timeout for access xFlow -> SearchServer?

    Regards,

    Peter

    Dears,

    Thanks all for your support

i solved the integration issue with the below stops

    1. Open command prompt on the server where the CA Service Management Search Server is installed.
    2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CASearchServer\search\bin
    3. Execute the following command:

      pdm_es_rebuild_index

the MORE bottom now is available

    Regards,

    Hi,

I tried the same before and it helped for ServicePoint.

The problem we have between xFlow and searchServer is not solved by pdm_es*-commands.

    @Louis: CASE not solved ;-)

    Peter
