is there any way to enable monitoring for all processes instead of enabling them manually.
Process name can be a regex.
So presumably /.*/ as the process name should take care of matching everything.
I've never done this so use with care - this seems like it could go badly.
It's been awhile, but last time this was tried in my lab it collects data for all but not by name just by # [1], [2], [3] which is pretty meaningless for reports.
Martin09, Just curious, why do you need/want to monitor ALL processes?
I have a generic process (with: *) profile active to alarm me if a process is taking more that 20% cpu.
At the same time this profile get me the qos for:
- total active processes
- total threads
