Domain-To-Translator error

Blog Post created by Nino.Uziel Employee on Nov 12, 2015

In some cases you might encounter the following error:

ERROR [im.provisioning.inbound] (http-0.0.0.0-8080-11) com.netegrity.ims.exception.IMSException:

The environment: ENVIRONMENT_NAME does not have a domain-to-translator map for inbound synchronization.

There are two main reasons for this error to occur.

The first is a miss-configuration of Program Exists in the Provisioning Manager. Please refer to the technical document domain-to-translator error for more information.

The second is related to attribute mapping in the IME, meaning you are trying to synchronize an attribute from the provisioning server, that is not mapped to anything in the corporate directory.

Once corrected, the errors should go away.
