As many of you are likely aware (especially those of you in the Bay Area), API World Conference and Expo 2016 was held this last week at the San Jose Convention Center. It proved to be an interesting event, with some fantastic speakers, representing API-driven companies as Yelp, PubNub, Best Buy, Hootsuite, DocuSign, Netflix, Adobe, and FourSquare.
Also on the speaker list was CA’s own Scott Morrison, Mike Amundsen, Matt McLarty, and Ronnie Mitra – making this (in my biased opinion) a simply must-attend event.
Every year, API World hosts a VIP Reception and Awards Ceremony. This year, I’m excited to announce that CA Technologies accepted not one, but two API World API Awards – Mobile APIs and API Security.
At the show, to showcase both the awards and the release of CA Live API Creator 3.0, CA Technologies issued a press release to showcase CA API Management's continued drive for integration of secure APIs for modern application architectures and mobile initiatives.
Back to the awards....according to Geoff Domoracki, founder of API World, "CA API Management is a great example of how more and more of the tech industry is realizing that APIs are not just how we integrate tools and apps, APIs are the new way of doing business and building new revolutionary technologies.”
I couldn’t agree more.
