HA node message status

Blog Post created by sinam09 Employee on Mar 28, 2018

Use the following two useful command to track how busy a specific cluster node is:

$ <JBOSS_HOME>/bin/jboss-cli.sh --connect

[standalone@localhost:9990 /] [standalone@localhost:9990 /] /subsystem=messaging/hornetq-server=default/jms-queue=iam.im.jms.queue.com.netegrity.ims.msg.queue:read-attribute(name=message-count)
{
"outcome" => "success",
"result" => 0L
}

[standalone@localhost:9990 /][standalone@localhost:9990 /] /subsystem=messaging/hornetq-server=default/jms-queue=iam.im.jms.queue.com.netegrity.ims.msg.queue:read-attribute(name=messages-added)
{
"outcome" => "success",
"result" => 2210L
}

message-count: Provides in flight messages getting processed by the node

messages-added: Total count since restart or counter reset.
