Would you be interested in a technical IM event?

Poll created by MichielHelder Champion on Sep 24, 2014

As some of you may have already read in our September Community Update, we (More about the IM Community Board Members) are exploring options to organize a technical event for the IM products sometime next year. We think it should be possible and attract enough attendance, but some input from the community would be helpful in making our business case. We will probably have a more detailed survey sometime in the next few months, but I wanted to get started with a quick poll to get a feel for how many people would be interested and might be able to attend. If you have any additional feedback, please feel free to leave a comment with this poll.

Some of the options we are currently considering:

- 2 day event

- No registration fee

- Lunch included

- One dinner included (if possible)

- Travel and lodging at your own cost as usual (but with discounted hotel rates if possible)

- Location would probably be (near) a suitable CA location in the US, but an event in EMEA (or both) might also be an option

Sessions would include the regular roadmap updates, but will mainly focus on technical deep dives into parts of the products which might be of additional value to you. For those of you who have been involved with CA IM products for a while: we are looking for something similar to the former DevBuddy events or the Network Management Summit which we have had in the past.

Your vote is in no way a commitment to register if an event is organized, it's only an indication of being interested which we can use as part of a business case.
